Rent Collection FAQ
When do tenants pay rent?
Rent is due on the 1st of each month per the lease agreement. There is typically a grace period through the 3rd. Late fees apply after the grace period.
How quickly do I get my money?
Disbursements are processed per your management agreement schedule, typically by the 15th of the following month. Funds are deposited directly into your Baselane owner account.
What if a tenant doesn't pay?
We follow a structured process: Day 5 friendly reminder, Day 10 formal demand, Day 15 owner notification. If payment isn't received, we begin evaluating eviction options with your approval. Every step follows Texas Property Code requirements.
Do you charge management fees during vacancy?
No. Our fee is based on rent collected. If the property is vacant and no rent is coming in, you pay us zero management fees.
